CHILD ABUSE & NEGLECT PREVENTION MONTH
Wear BLUE April 11 to raise awareness of the importance of preventing child abuse and neglect and keeping children safe. Please tell your family, friends, and co-workers to promote GO BLUE DAY. We encourage all of you to plant a pinwheel garden as a reminder of the bright futures all children deserve. This year's theme is "Making Meaningful Connections". When we make meaningful connections with the children, and families in our communities, we can help parents build the knowledge and skills and access the resources necessary to raise happy and healthy children. Everyone can play a role in preventing child abuse and neglect and promoting child and family well-being.
You can also join Missouri KidsFirst at the State Capitol on Wednesday, April 16 at noon for the 5th Annual Pinwheels for Prevention Community Pinwheel Garden.
